LaDell

 

Hi, my name is LaDell Prince and I would like to introduce myself.  I enjoy being unconventional at times so instead of sharing traditional biography, I thought I would provide 10 fun facts about what makes me a special butterfly. 

I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY by two wonderful parents as one of six children.

My greatest accomplishment are my two adult children who make me proud daily. 

I Received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work while raising a family and working full time. 

I have spent over 20 years helping at risk children and their families. My broad range of experience in social work include in-patient mental health counseling, out-patient therapy, as well as manager over several city and county and youth detention services.

I have helped to create and management of seven human services programs. 

I enjoy volunteering in the community and working in my church. 

I utilize a person-centered approach with Mindfulness techniques with all of my clients.

I enjoy cooking and regularly take nature walk with the love of my life. 

I am developing a new found love for photography. 

I love to travel. Aside from my personal adventures I have also visited 18 states throughout the United States as a Federal Consultant for the Department of Health and Human Services. 

Fun Fact Bonus: I believe that people can change and grow and have amazing resiliency because I have done it myself and know others can as well.  As I walk my journey and create new goals for myself, I look forward to helping you with yours.
